This structure was built on a very difficult, steep site. The resulting design includes four stories of living space with the entrance on the third floor.Passive cooling strategies and daylighting were also taken into account, resulting in deep overhangs and operable windows on all sides of the house. The corner stair tower and broad overhangs give an interesting appearance to this unique solution.
